Thank you to all!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

In addition to a record number of Osprey observations, this year\u2019s second Osprey Morning brought another big surprise – a family of European Wildcat Felis sylvestris<\/em> (photo above)! This litter of three kittens, playing amid the rocks on a lake jetty for 10 minutes at 06:15, temporarily distracted the attention of a few very lucky participants. Other mammals noted on 29 June were Eurasian Beaver, Red Fox and Roe Deer. As for the birds, about 100 different species were recorded, including a very late Squacco Heron and a Whiskered Tern at Lake Morat, and several nice Purple Herons, Little Bitterns and Hobbies in various places. Great thanks again to all the volunteers who contributed to the success of the second Osprey Morning of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
